As these ships can access smaller cruise ports, you’ll find some really interesting itineraries to places like the Panama Canal, Alaska, the Eastern Mediterranean and Australia. Enchantment of the Seas is the biggest, measuring around 83,000 tons (it was, notably, lengthened by 73 feet in 2005). Indeed, the top decks of Freedom Class ships are more loaded with attractions than any other Royal Caribbean vessels except the Icon Class and Oasis Class vessels.

Who Should Cruise on Royal Caribbean's Oasis-Class Ships?
The Voyager Class is a group of five Royal Caribbean cruise ships that were launched between 1999 and 2003. These ships are Voyager of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas, Adventure of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas, and Mariner of the Seas. My itinerary to the Greek Isles on a Vision Class ship was port-intensive. The ship worked perfectly as a place to rest and unwind at the end of the day before having to wake up early for another day in port. Truthfully, I wouldn’t have had time or energy for endless onboard activities and entertainment options.

Each ship features an indoor ice skating rink, just like Icon of the Seas. The Voyager-class ships were also the first to feature a Royal Promenade with bars, cafes, and shops in their interior. Each ship also has several specialty restaurants in addition to the main dining room and casual buffet.

These ships are the biggest cruise vessels afloat, and they offer a wide range of amenities that cater to big-ship lovers. All four ships also feature Royal Caribbean's Schooner Bar and enough other bars and lounges to entertain most cruisers. Most Radiance-class ships have a decent selection of eateries, with options varying from ship to ship. All Radiance-class ships feature Chops Grille, Izumi, Chef's Table and Giovanni's Table; all also have the grab-and-go Cafe Latte-Tudes, for extra-fee specialty coffees and pastries.

Enchantment of the Seas also has a 65 foot suspension bridge on each side of the pool deck, allowing guests to cross over the pool deck area from above. Vision, Rhapsody, and Grandeur of the Seas have one main pool and four jacuzzis on the main pool deck area. The fitness center is complimentary, but offers fitness classes and nutrition consultations at an extra cost.
There’s even a park in the middle with over 10,000 real plants and trees! And Icon of the Seas takes that even further with more amazing features. The Freedom Class ships, notably, were the first Royal Caribbean ships to feature a FlowRider surfing simulator on their top decks — now a signature attraction for the line. The vessels also have multiple pool areas, a water park, a miniature golf course and a rock climbing wall on their top decks (which are among the most activity-packed at sea). The Quantum Class ships aren't quite as big as Royal Caribbean's Icon Class and Oasis Class vessels (and thus don't have quite as much room for things like ice skating rinks).
